Fluoridation most cost effective of programmes to reduce tooth decay in young children

Analysis from Public Health England has found that 5 years after starting water fluoridation, for every £1 spent £12.71 would be saved; 10 years after starting water fluoridation, for every £1 spent £21.98 would be saved.  This is almost a three-fold greater return on investment than the next most cost-effective programme aimed at 0-5 year olds.
